Yesterday did not confirm Friday. It changed the question.

Friday looked more constructive on the surface. By Monday, the Working Class Screener had narrowed again: 62 tickers in coverage, only 21 names in the final screen, and final breadth of nine positive, 11 negative, and one flat.

That matters because the issue was not just whether Monday was up or down. The issue was whether Friday’s improvement could survive into the next processed day.

It did not do enough. October 12 brought a new leadership group — SKYA, LONA, and GCL — while Friday’s leaders, WFF, ZYBT, and VRXA, were absent from Monday’s final snapshot. CTNM and PSIG supplied the sharpest visible weakness, QUCY reactivated as a downside anomaly, and sampled SAIQ/XNDU weakness carried across the Friday-to-Monday comparison.

The public takeaway is simple: the handoff pattern is still intact, but Monday made the burden of proof higher. A smaller final screen means the next signal has to come from broader participation, not just another eye-catching leader.

The bigger question is whether this is still just rotation inside a shrinking field — or the early shape of something more durable.

That is the important distinction. A new leader can keep the screen interesting, but it does not automatically confirm a healthier setup. What matters next is whether participation widens, whether Monday’s active names remain visible, and whether the next screen shows continuity instead of another reset.

That is where the full subscriber report comes in.

Inside the full weekly look, I break down what the public post only points toward: the October 6–12 sequence day by day, Friday’s denominator problem, Monday’s contraction, the tracker bridge, and the names that need to persist before this becomes more than another short-lived leadership handoff.
